Blocked Drains Georges River
Need help with blocked drains? EKORP services Georges River. Call to discuss the property, the work and current availability.
Where’s the job?
From Hurstville's busy town centre to the waterfront streets of Blakehurst and Kyle Bay, the Georges River area throws every kind of drain problem at us, and the fix always starts the same way: a camera down the line before a dollar is quoted.
Once we can see the cause, most blockages clear in a single visit with high-pressure jetting. Where roots or cracks have damaged the pipe, we reline it in place, with no digging up the driveway.
Why Georges River drains block
The area's older suburbs run on earthenware sewer lines that have spent a lifetime under big established trees, and the sloping river-side blocks move stormwater fast enough to drag leaf litter into every pit and grate. Add kitchen grease hardening in ageing pipes and you have the usual suspects a camera confirms.
- Root-bound earthenware sewer lines
- Leaf litter in stormwater pits on sloping blocks
- Grease build-up in ageing kitchen lines
- Cracked pipes from age and ground movement

Questions
Common questions about blocked drains.
Here are clear answers to common questions. Call us if you need help with something else.
How much does it cost to unblock a drain?
We inspect the job and confirm the price before work begins. Every job gets a firm price before work starts.
Do you use CCTV for drain inspection?
Yes. CCTV is standard practice for any blocked drain job bigger than a simple kitchen or bathroom clog. The camera pushes through the pipe, locates the exact position of the blockage and identifies what's causing it, so the quote covers the real problem.
What is the difference between using a chemical drain cleaner and calling a plumber?
A chemical cleaner is a band-aid. It eats the organic gunk near the top of the pipe and might get water flowing again for a few weeks, but it does not fix what caused the blockage, and the harsh chemicals can corrode older pipes from the inside.
Will your plumbers clean up after clearing the blockage?
Yes, every time. We bring drop sheets, vacuums and disinfectant. Anywhere the work gets dirty, the bathroom floor, around an outdoor drain pit, the laundry sink, is cleaned and sanitised before we leave.
